Q: Why are your prices so much lower than others’? Is there a difference in quality?

A:At Granite Mill, we keep our prices down by keeping our overhead down. We don’t have huge stocks of unpaid inventory sitting around that has to be paid for. This allows us to sell top quality granite at low prices to all of our valued customers. Our fabricator has 17 years of experience so the quality of the work is top-notch.

Q: Do you have a showroom or retail store where I can view the product in-person?

A: Granite Mill provides the fabrication and installation services but we use several local slab inventory companies for out stone selection. Customers can go to these and view the different granite types. We can meet customers at these slab inventories to help them pick out a stone type that will work for them. Please give us a call at: 206.212.0440 to set up an appointment. If you live in the area, a sales representative can bring samples and pictures directly to your home.
Q: Is there a minimum order size?
A: Because of the overhead involved in each order, the minimum order size is 20 square feet. Of course, someone could order a surface that is less than 20 square feet and we would produce it but they would still be charged as though the order was for 20 square feet of material.Q: What sinks do you sell, and what are the prices?

A:Please visit the Sinks page of this website. There you will find information about the sinks and their prices.

Q: How long do I have to wait for delivery and installation?

A:Allow 1 to 2 weeks for delivery and installation from the date that the templating is done and we receive the deposit for material and fabrication. If you have special time constraits, please let use know. We can usually move things around to accomodate most situations.

Q: Is there a phone number that I can call and speak to someone in person?

A:Yes, our phone number is 206.GRANITE. Our office hours are 8:00 to 5:00 Pacific Time. However, you can leave a message anytime and a sales person will get back to you.

Q: May I pick out the slab that my countertops will be fabricated out of?

A:Yes. You can schedule to meet with one of our sales reps at one of the stone slab companies. There you will be able to view the slabs in person and pick out the one(s) that you prefer to use for your job.

Q: Can I get samples of the different materials?

A:A sales representative will bring samples to your home. You can also visit one of the slab yards and see the full slabs of the materials.

Q: Will I need to seal or treat my countertops after they are installed?

A:Granite countertops need to be treated (the frequency depends on use). You can discuss various treatment products with a representative of your local home improvement store.
